Dr. Rashaan J. Green is a nationally recognized cybersecurity executive and board-level advisor with deep expertise leading security strategy across defense, intelligence, and sovereign cloud environments.
As Vice President of Security at Second Front Systems, he oversees enterprise security, product security, compliance, cybersecurity assessment, and IT operations for Game Warden — one of the few commercially operated DoD IL6-authorized platforms spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP. Across a career supporting some of the world's most sensitive missions, Dr. Green has become known for building resilient security organizations, operationalizing large-scale classified cloud governance programs, and aligning cybersecurity strategy with business growth and national security objectives.
Google Public Sector
Prior to joining Second Front Systems, Dr. Green served as Director and Board-Appointed Corporate Officer at Google Public Sector, where he led insider threat and counterintelligence governance for a classified portfolio exceeding $1 billion in value. He co-founded the first cross-provider insider threat working group in collaboration with AWS and Microsoft — establishing a new model for security intelligence sharing across classified cloud programs.
During his tenure, he helped secure and sustain more than 26 DoD and Intelligence Community Authorizations to Operate while advising executive leadership, defense stakeholders, and board members on enterprise risk, AI and GenAI security governance, trusted workforce strategy, and emerging threat posture.
Earlier Leadership
Dr. Green has held senior cybersecurity leadership positions at Microsoft, Northrop Grumman, Areté Associates, and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. At Microsoft, he directed security engineering operations for classified M365 GovCloud environments and led enterprise response activities during the SolarWinds and Log4J crises, maintaining operational continuity with zero data loss.
Throughout his career, he has overseen multimillion-dollar security budgets, led organizations of more than 40 cybersecurity professionals, and driven secure modernization initiatives across SAP, SCI, and sovereign cloud ecosystems supporting federal and defense missions worldwide.
